Out of true love: For her mourning husband, 83-year-old Billie Breland wrote a moving letter before her death.
The 83-year-old Billie Breland was known to write small notes for herself, just to forget nothing. However, before her death on January 13, 2015, she wrote a very special secret letter, addressed not to herself but to her husband.
Two days after his wife's death, James Breland spotted the letter his wife had secretly written in his checkbook . The lines that Billie wrote for the man she was happily married to for more than 60 years speak all the love she must have felt for him. Billie Breland wants to encourage her husband and let him know that they will meet again.
"Please do not cry because I've died, laugh because I've lived, know that I'm in a happy place, know we'll meet again, I'll meet you there."
Of course, friends and relatives are also there after the death of his wife for James Breland. But her condolences will certainly not have the same effect as the secret letter from his wife Billie Breland .
Incidentally, the handwritten message was released to the public by the grandson of the couple Cliff Sims. The journalist working for Yellowhammer News published a picture of the letter on his Facebook profile along with the words, "My 'Mimi' passed away last week and left it in my grandfather's checkbook to find it, having been married for over 60 years Wow. "
