You need this for this recipe book:

  • Linen fabric
  • textile Color
  • textile marker
  • tape measure
  • fabric scissors
  • pins
  • Sewing machine with matching yarn
  • fine brush
  • Iron

And that's how easy it is:

Book cover:

1. Cut fabric to the size of the book plus about 8 cm on the short sides for the inserts.

2. Cover all edges with the sewing machine.

3. Turn over the short sides to shelves and sew.

Paint:

4. Paint the motif on the fabric with a fine brush and fabric paint. Apply writing with a textile marker.

5. Fix by ironing over the textile paint according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  • Fabric in yellow 55 x 12 cm
  • patterned fabric 55 x 18 cm
  • Folder / ring binder in DIN A5 (stationery)
  • Light blue fabric ribbon
  • Fabric adhesive photo cardboard in red, white, blue and yellow
  • All Purpose Adhesive
  • black pen
  • Ruler / tape measure
  • French chalk
  • fabric scissors
  • pins
  • Sewing machine and matching yarn
  • Cutter with cutting pad

And that's how easy it is:

1. Cut fabrics and seam with the sewing machine in a lockstitch, seam width 1 cm.

2. Sew smaller fabric strips (12 x 55 cm) right to right on the larger fabric strips (18 x 55 cm).

3. Turn the fabric to the left and place the folder in the middle of it.

4. Beat the protruding fabric edges into the inside of the folder and fix the edge with pins. Stitch up the edges.

5. Cut the fabric ribbon 55 cm in length, place it on the seam of the two sewn-together fabrics and fix with fabric glue.

6. Use the pair of scissors to cut an oval out of the red photocard and stick it in the middle of the upper third onto the patterned fabric and inscribe it.

7. For the dividers blue, white, red and yellow photocard cut into strips with the cutter 1.5 cm wider than DIN A5 and about 4 cm long. Glue together in register on a DIN A5 sheet.
