Walk like the queen

If you ever wanted to know what it's like to walk through Buckingham Palace like Queen Elizabeth (86), you'll get the chance: with a virtual tour .

It is the latest feature on the Queen's website that has already written in 3D history with their TV Christmas message .

Modern shows the British royal family like in recent years. Dusty monarchy was yesterday.

And so it is no wonder that now the website of the Queen is again a bit more modern.

If you have not made it as a visitor or guest to Buckingham Palace, you can at least get a glimpse of what it would be like to live here with the new virtual tour.

Breathtakingly beautiful is the 360-degree view, the Internet visitors expected - as if one stood directly on the large staircase or in the throne room. In total, three rooms can be visited, which are otherwise mostly visited by state guests. You can also stand on the grand staircase, which visitors pour over when they are invited to Buckingham Palace on festive occasions.

Anyone who knows English can also get some background information. This is not very detailed, but at least a nice extra.

Fancy a virtual tour? Just go to the Queen's website and click on each room: Virtual Tour of Buckingham Palace .
