No peace on your own birthday
The 65th birthday is still an important cut for many, as the day means the ticket to retirement. Not so with Prince Charles . He must continue to stand ready as heir to the throne - until he finally gets the crown on his head. Therefore, his 65th birthday has only minor significance for him and it does not seem to bother him that he must spend his day of honor this time away from home.
According to the court, Prince Charles plans to travel through India for nine days next month and then attend the Commonwealth Heads of State (CHOGM) conference in Sri Lanka, for the first time as his mother's official representative!
