An investigation has revealed that especially the large corporations produce poison-free . The luxury groups have done worse.

Normally, one could assume that just Primark, Zara and H & M produce cheap and polluted. However, the scandals and criticism of these companies are beginning to be fruitful: "Most companies live up to their word and start to produce fashion that can cope with the environment, " says Kirsten Brodde, textile expert for Greenpeace. The sports manufacturers Puma and Adidas are doing well.

Two years ago, H & M banished the carcinogenic substance PFC from manufacturing. Zara revealed wastewater data, securing the praise of Greenpeace. And Primark ensures despite toxic prices for non-toxic clothing. However, exposure to toxins has nothing to do with the production conditions of the chains. These are still in the criticism.

The review continues to be Nike and various luxury brands. Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Versace or Armani "do not care about poison-free production, " says Greenpeace.
