So fast Rebecca Gallagher from Wales probably will not set foot in a branch of the fashion chain Primark. In her ten-pound dress, she found a disturbing message.

In search of the washing instructions of the dress, she came across a sewn-in label with the inscription "Forced to work exhausting hours" ("Forced to work exhaustingly (over) hours").

This is reported by the South Wales Evening Post. The affected customer had turned to the sheet.

How exactly the sign got into the Primark dress, is so far unclear - possibly it was not attached directly to the factory, but only in the UK on the dress. What is certain, however, is that it continues to raise doubts about the production conditions in the factories of the bargain chain Primark .

While Rebecca Gallagher wants to renounce cheap clothing in the future, it is said by Primark's side that no further incidents with this dress are known and it is an isolated case. "We would be grateful if the client handed us the dress so that we could investigate how the label got to the dress and whether we need to continue this matter".

In the past, Primark was repeatedly criticized for his working conditions. After the 2013 Rana Plaza disaster in Bangladesh, the label had last attempted to supplement its image with financial aid for affected workers and new production regulations.
