The guests can come! With this cool party decoration nothing can go wrong on New Year's Eve.

What you need for the party hats:

  • 3 sheets DIN A2 photocard each approx. 1, - (craft shop)
  • double-sided adhesive tape (craft shop)
  • 5 m loop per meter approx. 2.50 Euro (fabric shop)
  • newsprint
  • Circle or dinner plate
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • Perforator

And that's how easy it is:

1. Lay out the substrate with newspaper. Glue a sheet of wrapping paper with spray adhesive onto a sheet of photocard.

2. After drying, draw two 35 cm semicircles on the cardboard side.

3. Cut out the semicircles.

4. Turn the half-circles into a bag so that the two ends of the straight edges overlap by about 5 cm.

5. Stick the hat to the overlap with double-sided tape.

6. Pierce one hole on each of two opposite sides with a punch.

7. Knot a loop of approx. 40 cm through the holes.

You need this for the champagne bottles:

  • 2 fine brush pieces about 3.50 (eg from Idee-shop.de)
  • Laying milk 4, 50 (eg from Idee-shop.de)
  • 6 Piccolo-SektflaschenBlattmetall (pack 25 sheets 10, 50, eg of Idee-shop.de)
  • red satin ribbon (craft shop)

  • Metal staple silver colors (12 pcs. 3, 80 € from www.kirsch-interior.de)
  • sparklers
  • scissors
  • pink pin
  • black pen

And that's how easy it is:

1. Using the brush, spread the milk on the champagne bottles (up to the neck). Let it dry for 15 minutes.

2. Carefully place the individual metal sheets on the bottles and gently press down with a clean soft brush.

3. Knot a band of about 30 cm around each neck of the bottle.

4. Write the names of the guests on embossed pigs, shamrocks and lace trivets and then stick them to the bottles with double-sided adhesive tape.

5. Decorate the inscribed motifs with small punched chimney sweeps and small clamps.

6. Finally, put a sparkler through the ribbon at the bottleneck.

You need this for the party favors:

  • 2 lead casting sets about 2, - (eg of flag stain)
  • Cellophane bag with bottom size 115 x 190 mm set of 8 about 1 € (drugstore)
  • Pack of sequins in pink about 2 € (fabric store)
  • 6 sparklers about 0.90 € (drugstore)
  • 1 m pink ribbon approx. 2.50 (fabric store)
  • scissors

And that's how easy it is:

1. Place the lead pouring set in the cell glass bag and sprinkle a few more pink sequins into the bag.

2. Tie the bag with a loop of approx. 30 cm.

3. Tie a loop from the two ends of the ribbon and pull the spoon up a little.

4. Tie a loop for every 6 sparklers from a loop of about 30 cm.

  • old pot
  • pencil

And that's how easy it is:

1. Dissolve white wax in a pot and dissolve a colored wax crayon based on beeswax. The more the pen resolves, the more intense the color becomes.

2. Dip white pillar candles into the wax. Put wax on. The different color gradations are created by repeated dipping.

3. Let it dry well.

4. At the computer in Word create the desired year in font size 150 and print it out.

5. Put the print on the wax film and draw the outlines of the numbers with a sharp pencil and a little pressure.

6. Cut out the transferred numbers on the wax film with a cutter and glue onto a pillar candle.

7. Cut the remaining wax film approx. 5 mm thick and decorate the remaining candles with it.
