Who is it? The peony . Belonging to the peony family, the beautiful Paeonia enjoys flower lovers and hobby gardeners year after year.
Interesting facts about peonies:
The ancient Greeks and Romans supposedly believed that with the help of a peony, a person could be healed or brought back to life. The genus name Paeonia leads back to the Greek word "paionia", which stands for the physician of the gods "Paian".
