You may also know them, these situations where you are whistled around and you wonder how the other people are doing it. So you do not have to stand still silently in the future, we'll tell you now, how you can whistle really loud - completely without tools. All you need is four of your ten fingers. And if you follow the instructions below and do everything right, it works on the first try.

Whistling with fingers: step-by-step instructions

  1. Keep your hands in front of your body. The palms show the body.
  2. Then use your index and middle fingers to form A. The rest of your fingers roll as if you were forming a fist.
  3. Suck your upper and lower lip inwards so that they overlap your teeth. It may take a while to figure out exactly how to move your lips.
  4. Use your middle and index fingers to position your tongue properly. Put it in your mouth and the tip of the tongue slightly down. Your tongue should now form a slight curve. Your fingers are about a quarter in your mouth.
  5. Now just breathe in and out again. Do you feel the air coming in and out of your mouth over your lower lip? Then everything works as it should. However, if you feel the air brushing your upper lip, you will have to narrow the channel formed by your fingers a bit.
  6. Then you just have to blow out the air a little bit and whistle. Careful, it could get loud.
