In the interview

All human beings have a guardian angel - that is the hit star Nicole convinced. For the singer, it is her late father. In an interview with THE NEW BLADE she tells how he watches over her ...

The new page: Which projects are you currently working on? Nicole: In autumn there will be an anniversary album on the occasion of my 30th stage anniversary. 30 years - that's a long time! And that has to be celebrated properly. This album will feature my achievements over the last three decades, of course in a fresher version. What do you do when you have a little time for yourself? Nicole: Then I finally have time for my friends. We also have many festivities like silver weddings and birthdays here this year. I like to help and get involved. For example, my parents-in-law are celebrating their golden wedding this year. Do you have special plans for your 30th stage anniversary? Nicole: We would like to do a church tour again. I've done that before. That was an indescribable, emotional moment that I absolutely wanted to repeat. It starts in November / December. This tour will be the so-called icing on the cake - my personal icing. I already get goose bumps when I think about it. I've heard you believe in guardian angels ... Nicole: Yeah, I really do! Where does it come from? Nicole: I have already experienced different situations in which I thought that if no angel had taken care of me, I would not be alive. How many times have you been in situations where you thought it could have been different? We all know that. Is there a specific situation that you are referring to? Nicole: Oh, there are some. Which, for example? Nicole: When the tsunami hit Thailand in 2004, I was almost there with my little family. We wanted to go on vacation and had Cape Town and Thailand to choose from. Luckily we chose Cape Town. We would have been right in the area where the tsunami came down - right on the beach. We were damn lucky. When we turned on the TV on Boxing Day, we saw what happened there and could not believe it. We sat petrified in front of the screen, knowing that it almost hit us. Even today I have the travel brochures at home. I am glad that at that time a guardian angel took care of us. I do not want to think about what would have happened otherwise. It would have wiped out a small family. Can you see angels? Nicole: I feel Angel and God in silent moments around me. For example, I also go to church alone. I believe in God and angels. But I do not stick to the given times. Our church is always open and I can go there when I feel the need. The church is the place where angels and the dear Lord are always omnipresent.

Do you think we all have an angel looking after us? Nicole: Yes, I believe that every person has an angel who takes him by the hand and tries to guide him. That's the job of the guardian angels. It is also often said that children have a guardian angel. And that's right. They are always so lucky, nothing happens to them. Have your children ever needed their guardian angel? Nicole: Of course. When? Nicole: My older daughter was on the highway about 4 years ago with her car. In the process, a tire detached from a truck that was driving in front of her, bouncing against the undercarriage of her car with full force. However, she was able to continue steering normally and absolutely nothing happened to her. In this situation, she definitely had a guardian angel with her. Do you believe in a life after death? Nicole: Yeah, I think I've lived before. Years ago when I was in Cape Town for the first time and set foot on the ground, I immediately felt at home. I believe that I have lived there before. Something like that has happened to me in Asia too. I believe that I have lived several times. Are you afraid of death? Nicole: No. An acquaintance of mine almost died once. He already looked over himself in the hospital and saw from above how the doctors revived him with a defibrillator. He always wanted to tell them to stop. He was in a tunnel and saw the light. That was a great feeling. He was not afraid. Such reports take away my fear of death. Do you believe that dead as angels return to earth and protect us? Nicole: Yes, I can imagine that. Have you ever had situations in which you felt your guardian angel? Nicole: Shortly after my father died five years ago, I had a concert. The light system has crashed out of the blue. It was terrible. I've seen the lights come closer and closer. But I was lucky. It did not fall on me, but landed in the audience - miraculously. And you mean that your dad had something to do with it? Nicole: I think he was there and put his protective hand over me. It was my late father who saved my life. He took care of me from the sky. What happened to your fans in the audience? Was someone injured? Nicole: Many were able to save themselves among the tables distributed in the room, some suffered abrasions and bruises. But nothing bad happened to anyone. Have you always believed in guardian angels? Nicole: Yes, already as a child. But I do not know where that comes from. It's easy in me. Do you also talk to them? Nicole: Yes, I communicate with God and the angels as much as I talk to people.
