XL-Points and Flats: We will wear this in Spring / Summer 2015
The first leg of the fashion month is coming to an end. So it's time to review New York's collections and find out what's coming up next summer.
1. The high leg slot
Covered and yet extremely sexy - after Diane von Furstenberg and Versus Versace, next season we let our leg up under the fashionable maxi skirt (or dress) (Angelina Jolie knew it already 2 years ago!). The cut is wide swinging, the material is best chiffon; so the ultrafeminine detail only becomes visible while running.
2. Flat shoes
Okay, flat shoes are certainly a trend when Victoria Beckham personally sends her models over the catwalk at New York Fashion Week 2014 . These fit perfectly with the sporty-simple cuts of the collection. Very skillful, Victoria! We're going to do it next summer!
3. Delicate check pattern
Otherwise, rather an autumn trend, the check pattern accompanies us until the new season. Then, of course, in summer colors - pastel shades such as light blue and delicate rose give the check pattern a girlish-dreamy attitude, as here at Oscar de la Renta.
4. Haute sports
Sportiness is trumps again in the next summer, so it was the old master of the Sporty chic, Alexander Wang on the catwalk to see. The inspiration came this time from the fabric used for sneakers - and that makes it really fantastic as a dress!
5. XL points
Not only checks give themselves the honor next season, also XL-points are joining. But interpreted quite differently than we are used to! While the check pattern is playful, the polka dots go wild, are sometimes arranged irregularly and have blurred edges like here at Marc by Marc Jacobs.
After the New York Fashion Week 2014, we are looking forward to the summer trends for 2015 that await us from Paris, Milan and London! There are still the shows of Burberry, ChloƩ, Armani and of course Chanel ...
