Cool chalk colors
No matter if you want to pimp on your old chairs or skilfully stage a flea market piece, pastel chalk colors will give you that perfect look.
You need this:
- Chairs (flea market)
- Sandpaper (granulation 120, hardware store)
- AMAZONA chalk paint citron no.12
- AMAZONA chalk color Evergreen Nr.20 (0, 75 L, 29, 90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)
- brush
- masking tape
- Amazona quality wax, transparent (250 ml, 12, 90 €, www.diekreidefarbe.de)
- soft cloth
And that's how easy it is:
1. Sand the chairs with sandpaper and remove the sanding dust with a soft cloth.
2. Paint chairs with the desired color and let them dry.
3. Mask the legs evenly with the artist's tape and let them dry.
4. Apply the transparent Amazona quality wax to the chalk paint with a soft cloth to protect it. For a lasting protection. At heavily used areas, the layer is to be renewed from time to time.
