Carnations thrice different

Photo: deco & style

It will be colorful

We are looking forward to these form-rich flowers all year round. Cloves are a true classic, we show three flowery decoration ideas.

Cloves and berries as a bouquet

You need this:

  • Foam ball for fresh flowers (craft shop or florist)
  • tureen
  • cloves
  • roses
  • blackberries
  • hydrangeas
  • astilbe
  • Bowl of water
  • secateurs
  • knife

It's that easy:

1. Slowly soak floral foam in a bowl of water to prevent air pockets.

2. Put the ball in the soup bowl.

3. Cut the flowers short and stick them tightly in the ball. Holes may be pre-drilled with a skewer.

4. Keep floral foam moist.

You need this:

  • Foam wreath 20 cm for fresh flowers
  • 10 pink, 12 green, 8 pink, 8 white carnations
  • possibly shashlik skewer
  • about 20 Papierbackförmchen in 2 different color stable
  • floral wire
  • Geschenkband
  • Bowl of water
  • secateurs
  • wire cutters

It's that easy:

1. Slowly soak the foam ring in a bowl of water to avoid trapped air.

2. Cut the flowers short and put them close to the wreath. Holes may be pre-drilled with a skewer. Leave some gaps for the paper flowers.

3. Place 2-4 pieces of paper baking tray on top of each other on a flower wire. Slightly bend the wire above so that the molds do not slip off. Put the small molds in the gaps in the garland (do not put them all the way to the floor so that the paper does not come into contact with the wet sticking material).

4. Hang the wreath on a ribbon.

Carnations in sachets

You need this:

  • Circle or round plate per bag A4 sheet of patterned paper (craft shop)
  • double-sided adhesive tape (eg from Tesa)
  • Motive punches (eg from Fiskars)
  • A4 sheet white paperapprox.
  • 12 cm bow bandje
  • 1 pink, green, white carnation,
  • 1 green chrysanthemum
  • scissors
  • felt-tip pen

It's that easy:

1. To draw the shape of the bag onto the paper, place a compass on a corner of the sheet or use a round plate.

2. Cut along the drawn line.

3. Attach a strip of double-sided tape to one side of the cut-out bag, roll up the paper and glue the edges together.

4. Create a name tag with the help of the motif punch, label it and glue it onto the bag with double-sided adhesive tape.

5. Stick on a bow of satin ribbon to adorn.

6. Put in flowers.
