Sofia completely in love with the new look of Kate
Wooow, wooow and again wooow - that was probably the first reaction of most Kate fans to the Duchess' new hairstyle. Young and fresh as he is, her new look is likely to be an inspiration to many women in the world and their next hairdresser. And who would have thought: even for Princess Sofia of Sweden.
In love with the cool haircut of her royal mate, Sofia called her hairdresser, who turned her long curls into her own interpretation of the Kate Cut. Sofia proudly showed herself with the result, what we see her as well as our trendsetter Duchess Kate.
But not only the haircut have the royal ladies in common. Like Kate, Sofia was born a commoner and became part of the Royal Society through her marriage to Prince Carl Philip of Sweden in June 2015.
Previously, she led a less royal life as a reality TV star, underwear model and temporary waitress. Their simple origin was the reason why the Swedish royal family showed little delight when Philip confessed their relationship with Sofia. By threatening her son to give up all royal obligations if they did not accept Sofia, they were forced to give up their young fortune.
For Sofia began - as previously for Kate - the transformation of a simple girl next door to the princess. This transformation would be crowned by the wedding with Philip in the Royal Palace of Sweden. Sofia's dress had a striking resemblance to the Alexander McQueen dress Kate wore for her wedding to William.
First the wedding dress, then the haircut: It seems that Duchess Kate secretly is the great idol of Princess Sofia. We say: Idols need everyone! And as long as we can still distinguish the two royals from each other, everything is in perfect order.
