Just before the wedding, Phil Laboon separated from his fiancée. But the groom had a great idea to make the most of it.
A wedding is for many the most beautiful day in life, and such a day wants to be well planned. Phil Laboon from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania had already prepared everything: room booked, food ordered, invitation cards sent. Everything was ready and already paid. But then the worst happened, what can happen before a wedding - he and his fiancée split up!
The bridegroom had spent about $ 20, 000 on the celebration. Lots of money that Phil did not want to spend for nothing. But the entrepreneur had a really clever idea: He left everything the same and made the wedding celebration a charity event! Phil sells tickets for $ 75 each. He wants to donate the money to the aid organization " Lemon AID ". This is committed to better medical care in developing countries. "Nothing I've experienced is like what the kids have to go through every day, I'm glad I'm in a situation where I can help, " says Phil.
If he sells all the cards, a donation totaling $ 50, 000 will be raised. "It really makes me happy to be able to change the lives of so many children. It makes you feel that canceling a wedding is not the worst thing in the world. "
