Joey Fabus was once a normal boy. He went to school, playing baseball with his friends and dreaming of becoming a cop. But suddenly his life is played fast. The reason is tragic: Joey does not have the time to wait with his dreams.

In April 2014, her son comes to his parents with an unusual condition. Joey sees everything twice. Immediately they go to an ophthalmologist, but this is at a loss. To be on the safe side, he sends the family to the hospital. A routine examination should exclude serious diseases. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as relief: Joey is diagnosed with a diffusely intrinsic ponsglioma, an incurable brain tumor.

On January 21, 2015, Joey dies at the age of eight. As "Joey-strong" as he was, the tumor was stronger. His funeral is a testament to what a cherished boy Joey was: countless policemen and residents appear to pay him a last respects.

After five months have passed, he discovers something incredible. He clears the garden. At a secret spot, in the farthest corner of the shed, you can read the name Joey. After his death, Joey should become a symbol of strength. His parents have founded a foundation called "Joey Fabus Childhood Cancer Foundation, " through which donations are collected. The money goes to research institutions - maybe someday another child can be helped with it.
