spaghetti bolognese

How are you now being eaten, the spaghetti bolognese ? With knife and fork or with the spoon? One thing first: just as we enjoy our spaghetti Bolognese week by week, they do not exist in Italy at all. Neither with knife and fork nor with a spoon. And certainly not with the fine, long noodles.

Like right now? Spaghetti bolognese do not come from Italy? Exactly! While there are innumerable variations of the 'Italian classic' in Germany, the well-known pasta dish is unknown in Italy. At least not as we know it.

In Bologna there is the 'ragù alla bolognese', but it is traditionally eaten with fresh tagliatelle or used for the preparation of lasagna al forno - never with spaghetti!

And how is it with the food now? Quite simply: take the pasta on the fork and wrap it on the inner edge of the plate. Well then - buon appetito!
