It is exhausting!
Crown prince Willem-Alexander (45) and his wife Máxima (41) are awaiting exhausting days after their enthronement on April 30th.
Since all Dutchmen are keen to experience their freshly crowned royal couple up close, Willem-Alexander and Máxima want to introduce themselves in all 12 provinces of their country as new king and new queen .
The visit begins on May 28th and ends on June 21st. During this period, according to the Court's report, there are six trips to the Provinces on the Royals schedule.
Willem-Alexander and Máxima each honor two parts of the country each day. A hard stint, because in between or after are also foreign trips. Germany as a neighbor comes at a very early stage: Berlin, Baden-Wuerttemberg and Hesse are the stations of the two from 3 to 6 June.
This royal tour - together with a Dutch trade delegation - was organized before the abdication of Queen Beatrix (75).
Now this little tour of Germany was converted into an official inaugural visit by the new Dutch head of state and his wife.
