Our homemade granola bars are more than just delicious. They deliver energy quickly and fill you up for a long time. Dried fruits and nuts contribute to a healthy intestinal flora and give the circulation new momentum.

The basis of the homemade cereal bars : pungent oatmeal and any mango hazelnut and almond kernel. You do not like cranberries, but raisins? Refine your granola bars the way you like them best. And top it off with crisp cashews, fruity citrus and fine chocolate pieces. Access desired!

Pumpkin seed and orange granola bars

Ingredients (20 bars)

200 g pumpkin seeds, 200 g hearty oatmeal, 130 g butter, 120 g honey, 2 cm fresh ginger root, 200 g baked muesli (eg Seitenbacher), 30 g flour, 200 g candied orange slices, 1 egg white, baking paper

preparation

1. Chop seeds roughly and roast in a pan without fat. Remove and allow to cool. Oatmeal also roast. Ginger peel and finely chop. Cut orange slices into small pieces.

2. Melt the butter, add honey and ginger to a large bowl until smooth. Add oatmeal, cereal, flour, seeds and orange pieces and mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and place under the mass.

3. Add the mueslemonasse to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Shape into a rectangle (L: 30 cm x W: 20 cm x H: 2 cm). Bake in a preheated oven (electric cooker: 175 ° C / circulating air: 150 ° C / gas: see manufacturer) for approx. 25 minutes until lightly browned and pressure-resistant. Hazelnut cranberry granola bars

2. Melt butter and stir until smooth in a large bowl with honey. Add oatmeal, cereal, flour, seeds and bananas and mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and place under the mass.
