French dessin
The French charm enchants you again and again? Very understandable, because the Toile-de-Jouy look promises lightness, romance and playfulness in one.
Whether as a covered lampshade, letter holder, table runner or wallpaper - the French pattern always looks gorgeous. We have four suitable ideas.
Idea 1 with Toile-de-Jouy : French Romanticism
Country life, nostalgically transfigured, is reflected on the four-season fabrics, with which the letter rack (10.5 x 23 x 9 cm) and the archive box for DIN-A-4 formats are upholstered. The motifs are available in red and blue or green.
Idea 2 with Toile-de-Jouy : French lightness
Fabrics with romantically transfigured scenes of rural life were extremely popular in Rococo France. Now the idyllic motifs on fabrics, crockery and more are experiencing a renaissance.
Idea 3 with Toile-de-Jouy : French table
You need this for the table runner:
Approximately 3 m wallpaper with Toile-de-Jouy motif, thin iron rod (may have to be cut in the hardware store), double-sided adhesive tape (eg from Tesa), scissors
That's how it's done:
1. Cut the wallpaper according to the length of the table.2. Turn wallpaper over at both ends and form a tunnel. Fix with double sided tape.3. Place wallpaper over the table and push the iron bar into the tunnel so that the table runner hangs down smoothly.
Idea 4 with Toile-de-Jouy : French bath
A small bath can be wonderful aufpimpen with a wallpaper in Toile-de-Jouy look. This makes the room look much more stylish and spacious.
