Pretty and individual

This year we want to give our Christmas biscuits a very special look, so we get pretty ink pads and food coloring and decorate them like the pros.

You need this:

  • 1x biscuits of your choice, as flat as possible
  • 1x egg
  • 1x packet of powdered sugar
  • 1xSpritzbeutel
  • 1x spray pintIcingTip No. 1 and 2 (from Wilton over KD pies)
  • 1xfood color in black (from Wilton to KD pies)
  • 1x stamp set "Birds & Nests" (by Cavallini on www.avie-art.de)
  • 1x foam swab (by Martha Stewart on www.efco.de)
  • Alcohol (Vodkao, Ä.)
  • saucer

And that's how easy it is:

1. Beat the egg over with egg whites and add enough powdered sugar to produce a tough consistency, but after 10 seconds it will form a uniform surface again.

2. Fill the icing mass into a piping bag and spray onto the surface of the biscuits. Let it dry overnight.

3. Put a few drops of the food coloring on a saucer and mix with 1-2 small drops of alcohol. The color should not be too thin.

4. Using a foam swab, dab the paint on the stamp.

5. Carefully press the stamp on the frosting surface.
