What you need for the shelf:

  • Rope (hardware store)
  • Paint in blue
  • Hook with matching screws (hardware store)
  • Drill with wooden drill attachment
  • paint roller
  • cordless drill

And that's how easy it is:

1. Drill four holes into the corners of a 60 x 20 cm long board using a drill with a wood drill bit in the diameter of the rope.

2. Prime the board with paint in blue and let it dry well.

3. Guide the rope through the holes on both sides and fix it down with a strong double knot, making sure that the two ropes have the same length, here approx. 50 cm.

4. To hang, attach two hooks at the same height to the wall with a cordless screwdriver.
