25, 000 euros - for fans maybe a bargain. So much is a signed photo of Marilyn Monroe († 1962) at the British online retailer "Vintage Seekers" cost.
The portrait of "Blond Venus" was created in 1956 and is said to have been her "favorite" picture. The British photographer Cecile Beaton († 1980) made the picture then. He is considered one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century.
Marilyn Monroe also had a copy of the photo - autographed by Beaton. This was auctioned together with other collectibles back in 1999 for more than 117, 000 euros.
