A very special journey
Being close to nature and the wild animals: The folk music dream couple Marianne (59) and Michael Hartl (63) have indulged in this experience in South Africa. We met her afterwards.
How was the holiday?
Marianne: A dream came true for us! We always wanted to do this trip. It was our first safari. We have all buffalo and cheetah all animals seen.
Michael: If our grandson is a bit bigger, then we would like to go on a family vacation in South Africa.
Which experience has impressed you the most?
Michael: I found the walk with the lions very fascinating. We had a lot of heart palpitations .
Marianne: You have to move slowly and calmly. The animals feel fear immediately.
They came very close to the lions and elephants. I understand that you were afraid ...
Marianne: Oh yes. The cuddling with the lion cubs was only beautiful. Suddenly, however, five larger lion children came to play with me. They clawed my arms with their claws. One bit me while playing and tore my pants. We disinfected the site immediately. When I fed the elephant, I was terribly scared. Such an animal is huge.
They still have heart palpitations as a couple and after almost 40 years love ...
Michael: I am glad that I met Marianne !
Marianne: We had wonderful years, but sometimes there were disagreements. Thank God we will sometime laugh about our quarrel and reconcile ourselves.
