Mandy Capristo: I do not have one-night stands

CELEBRITY met Mandy Capristo for an interview

CELEBRITY employee Moni met Mandy Capristo

A short flared dress, endless legs and perfectly styled - that's how CELEBRITY met in Munich on Friday morning. She radiates, is friendly, politely thanks the hotel staff for her juice and even offers her breakfast wholegrain bread with cream cheese and paprika. For her first single, "The Way I Like It, " has already made it to # 3 on the iTunes charts, Mandy has remained very down to earth. Of course, the 22-year-old wants to build on this success with her solo album "Grace", which will be released on April 27, 2012.CELEBRITY: Did you expect the sacking of "Let's Dance"? Mandy Capristo: I guessed it somehow that day. But I also have to say honestly that I'm relieved. In the last few weeks I've tried to get everything under one roof. I had to learn the choreography in just two days while the others had four days to do it. And right now it's just not possible because we've been planning my album release for weeks and that's the project of my life for me. I always try to give everything 100 percent, but if you get such a low score, that is very demotivating. Who do you begrudge the victory now? Magdalena, because I understand her best. Right from the beginning I wished that Magdalena wins and I also knew that she will come back after being thrown out. Are you still in contact with your dance partner Stefano Terrazzino? Yes for sure! We only telephoned yesterday. Of course he is also bent, because he had planned so much. lives in Poland and we have already decided that we will go on holiday with all our friends. Does Stefano resemble your dream husband? With me there is no dream type. I see somebody and then it makes "click". But of course Stefano is an attractive man. But I attach importance that my dream man is witty and down to earth and knows what he wants. I do not like it at all when someone is insecure, because that also makes me very unsure. I'd like to have someone by my side who knows exactly what he wants in life. With your first solo single, "The Way I Like It, " it's all the better. Would you have expected this quick success? I am very modest. My mom always told me, "Do not put your expectations too high, then you can never be disappointed". I work hard and do not want to lose the fun despite all the stress. If I'm rewarded with third place in the iTunes charts, it's the most beautiful thing that can happen to an artist. But I'm also happy with the top 20 and just happy that I can finally go the way - "The Way I Like It" just - as I like it. In the video for your single is a penis graffiti on the Wall to see. When did you notice that? This is actually a rocket (laughs). No, he crept in! At some point I got a mail from a friend at night and read that my fans are horrified. I thought that was a bad joke and edited with Photoshop. Then I took a close look at the video and wrote to my record company: "Not cool at all"! The next morning my management called me and we laughed about it. We just took it with humor. Since there were so many graffiti on the wall, so we can be really grateful that only one penis was seen in the video (laughs). How much say did you have in your video? We do it all together. Of course, opinions sometimes diverge, but at the end of the day we have always come to a common denominator. In women's things - such as the styling - they trust me then. The break was very important to me: this haute couture dress in the ruined ruin! How much "Mandy" is in your songs? I wrote a song myself (Editor's note: "Grace"). It was important to me in my production that I do it the way I want it. We took a lot of time for the songs and lyrics. Although I did not write the lyrics myself, I connected with songwriters from around the world via Skype and told them about my life. We also had great songs on the table, but I could not do that because that was not me. I do not have any one-night-stands and I'm not the guy who sings in some fast lyrics! You sang the song "Grace" on your eponymous album in English, the part for your father in Italian. How was it for you? I do not speak Italian, but I understand it a bit. I've tried to learn a bit through language programs. It's just extremely difficult. It was always clear to me that this song will be for my family on my first album. My father does not speak English, yet I wanted him to understand this song. Two weeks ago, I played my family's song for the first time - they did not know about it for a year and a half. That was very emotional! You sing, dance, synchronize, model - what's the biggest challenge for you? I was allowed to moderate for the first time a few weeks ago. That was really fun, because I could never do that alone in the way. However, I realized that while it is fun, it could not be my life. You have to be very spontaneous and always have a spell in stock. What's still on your to-do list? (Comes into raptures) I have so many things that I would like to do. One thing that I always wanted to do, is to bring out your own perfume. I already know what the perfume looks like - I already know everything. Do you tell me what it will look like? No no! (laughs) But maybe someday it will come true, then we'll talk again. But the most important thing is to make people happy with my music. In which casting show - as a solo artist or band - would you join in 2012, if you had the chance again? I think for me it was the right way to start in a band. Although I came to Monrose at the age of 16, I read about American Idol that the kids are getting younger and younger. If you participate in such a show, you get everything that is not normal for an artist's life. In real life you work all the time, but in the show, the glamor is in the foreground. In the bandmates you will find in this time stop. I think it's better to make his first steps in a band. Can you imagine working with Bahar again? I have learned never to say never. Maybe someday the moment will come when we want to give a concert together. But I do not think so now, which star would you like to cooperate with? James Morrison. There are few artists that I could listen to every day for 24 hours and that get under my skin - and especially few men. But James Morrison has an incredible voice. I really fell in love with his voice. In the video you can hear the acoustic version of Mandy Capristo's song "The Way I Like It":
