Dancing & dreaming with Luca Vasta
Summer 2013. Luca Vasta experiences something very special on a cab ride through Berlin at night: She hears her song "Cut My Hair" for the first time on the radio. "The girlfriend with whom I was traveling shouted at the taxi driver almost hysterically to turn it up louder - and I realized that from now on I would not be able to do my music any more for myself alone, " recalls the 26-year-old.
The energetic catchy tune, which also underlined the commercial for a soft drink, is now followed by Luca Vasta's debut " Alba " : a mix of melancholic-tender ballads and stormy-danceable pop songs. The eleven varied tracks were created within a year - in which Luca Vasta felt nothing else was done than "writing songs, listening to music and eating pizza."
If the face of the singer seems familiar to her, under her first name Nadine, Luca Vasta also presented "Vasta TV" on the music channel Viva. But her heart has long since been singing. Hear!
