In the middle of preparing for a half-marathon in a few weeks, Franziska's foot has passed away. Diagnosis: stress fracture. Arriving across the street, the lady said to me "Wait, I've got something here - I just bought postcards". She took this postcard with the lucky guy from the envelope and gave it to me. She had also run a marathon herself and wanted to give me the motivation to never lose sight of my goal.
I was deeply moved and at first did not know how to behave, then I simply hugged her in gratitude and thanked him 100 times. It was such a beautiful feeling to receive such attention from a stranger.
THAT is the proof for me that there are still enough great, attentive people in the world and this lady just made me happy. This should show you that every person needs help and at some point it will come back! "
