Finally someone put it to the point. The director of "Precious, " Lee Daniels, compares filmmaking with a war. He thinks it is anything but easy work. Rather, he feels heavily reminiscent of a soldier. Because he thinks the life circumstances are similar. Daniels is probably not so wrong. But at least - when filming you will probably rarely killed by bombs. The director admits, however, that turning has its good sides. He is said to have greatly enjoyed working with Mariah Carey. Hard to believe actually. But maybe Daniels is a real miracle of patience with the diva.
