Fairytale-like robes and soft textures, rich colors and delicate tones - Lala Berlin presents a fairytale-like capsule collection inspired by Disney's Cinderella at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin. All looks are here!
A fashion show? Anyone can! Designer Leyla Piedayesh prefers to present her Capsule Collection for Lala Berlin at an intimate dinner in the trendy restaurant Crackers. The theme of the evening "Dinner with Cinderella " was not only true in terms of ambience and food (quinoa burger, beef filet, chocolate tart!), But also with truly fairytale fashion.
For Lala Berlin's evening dresses line, Leyla Piedayesh was inspired by Disney's new real-life adaptation of the legendary fairy tale "Cinderella". "I wanted to show clothes for strong, modern and self-confident women who are strong in life with both feet but still find the time to escape into their own little, dreamy fairytale world, " says the designer.
What did that look like in the 10-minute presentation? Floor-length robes in layering look, elaborate cuts studded with Swarovski crystals, embroidery reminiscent of abstract birds, mice and shoes from the fairy tale. Vivid colors, such as midnight and azure, contrast with pastel blue and black. The elaborate cuts of the "Midnight in Berlin" collection range from Cinderella robes to oriental-inspired kaftans, one of the hallmarks of Lala Berlin. Happy end.
