This behind-the-scenes snapshot of H & M's Christmas campaign surprised us a lot! This year's Christmas messengers are not as usual supermodels, but singers Lady Gaga and the 88-year-old music legend Tony Bennett.
What do these two have in common? Music goes without saying - the shrill pop icon and the aging jazz star have recorded an album together. The record with the nice name "Cheek to Cheek" will be released on the 23rd of September and will show Lady Gaga musically from a completely different side. Or, as Tony Bennett put it in an interview, "She's a wonderful singer, and I think that when you listen to the album we record, you'll say, 'I did not know she was singing so well!'"
In keeping with the title of the album, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are close together in the H & M Christmas campaign : the singer, a gentleman wearing a tuxedo, embraces Lady Gaga in a tight knit sweater with tights and a Walla Walla mane à la Cher shows.
Incidentally, in the ad for the campaign, the two will do a duet of the album - you can look forward to completely new sounds of Lady Gaga!
