Prevention and self-help
In order to prevent a conductive interference, care should be taken to cleanse the ears regularly and very carefully to avoid the formation of earwax plugs. But: Never go too deep into the ear with the cotton swab, this can lead to injuries. If you feel that an earwax plug has formed that you can not remove yourself in the usual, cautious way, you should see a doctor who can remove the earwax plug.
