Alcohol - the number one folk drug

Kellie Jo Nelson could have lost her daughter forever within two hours. And only because of the adolescent carelessness of her daughter. 16-year-old Taylor was drunk in a few minutes into a coma. That she survived - more than a miracle.

Taylor spends the evening with her cousin with her father. When he leaves the house for a short time, the two girls plunder his home bar. "2 beers, 2 shots of Captain Morgan, 2 shots of Apple Pie Moonshine, and 2 Shots of Whiskey, " writes Kellie Jo later on facebook. Two hours later he returns home, finds his daughter motionless. Immediately he brings the young girl to the emergency room. The diagnosis: Alcohol poisoning. That Taylor survived - a miracle. If her father had come home a few minutes later, she probably would not have made it.

Taylor is neither conscious nor able to breathe independently. Her sight: a shock. Her mother decides to post a photo of her daughter on facebook. Her words are right in the heart. "I never imagined we'd ever be in such a situation, Taylor either, maybe we should have done that."

"That's how 2 beers, 2 shots of Captain Morgan, 2 shots of Apple Pie Moonshine, and 2 Shots of Whiskey look like a 16-year-old."

"This is how 2 beers, 2 shots Captain Morgan, 2 shots Apple Pie Moonshine, and 2 Shots Whiskey look at a 16-year-old, " writes Kellie Jo under the frightening photo. "My daughter and cousin decided to go to a party last night while they were home alone for only two hours. (...) When I arrived, I ran into the emergency room and saw my child - on an ambulance bed the hypothermia she was wrapped in a blanket - her body temperature was only 35 degrees. (...) The team of the emergency department took 3 attempts to intubate Taylor, they tore her throat.

"My daughter's symptoms were caused by a blood alcohol level of 4.3, five times higher than the allowed limit, high enough to kill a full-grown man, " the mother continues. "By the grace of God we will not have to bury our child this week, but only because we are very blessed, and because we were very lucky, some party, to all parents: 2 hours, they were only alone for 2 hours. To all the kids: 2 beers and 6 shots is all it takes to almost kill this girl, please share this. Help raise awareness of the dangers of teenage alcohol intoxication and booze. "
