What do musical performers do in case of a delay? Right: singing! The teams of Aladdin and Lion King turn the airport into Broadway!
Delays are always annoying. Actually, one would have long been at the goal - with friends, family or at the desired vacation resort- would not be the small sign with great importance on the scoreboard praise: delayed. The red letters make every traveler frustratedly sagging. That's what happened to the passengers at New York City Airport. However, these are anything but bad-tempered. They even have a huge luck that their machine was not late!
What sounds incomprehensible, every musical fan will be able to understand after this video. Many a human will even wish he had been among the waiting travelers! The reason: Among the passengers are some celebrities. As luck would have it, both the performers of the Lion King and the musical Aladdin are present!
And they are just as impatient. Without further ado, they do what musical performers do when they get bored: they sing. The first notes of King of the Lions sound. This request is not ignored by the Aladdin crew. James Inglehart, who plays genius in the musical, spontaneously devises a rap about the situation. It starts a small Broadway competition in the middle of the airport!
The spectators are astonished and enthusiastic at the same time. The actors turn the concourse into Broadway and present to the waiting people a taste of two successful musicals. The whole wait was worth it: the freestyle remix of Aladdin and the Lion King makes the six-hour delay forgotten for a moment!
