The chapter is finished! At least Camilla Henemark (47) finds that it is finally time to file her affair with King Carl Gustaf (66). The former singer wants to comment on the topic with her memoirs and thus draw a line.
It was not their intention to capitalize on the alleged affair. She told the Swedish newspaper Expressen that after all the coverage, she would have thought it odd if she did not explain her point of view.
And she does this in the book "Goodbye, you sweet life". In it she tells how she first met Carl Gustaf at a Christmas market in 1998. However, a real rapprochement did not come until a few months later.
At a dinner, the two sat side by side - on a bench without a backrest. It came, as it had to come: One fell over together and there was a first secret kiss. Thereafter, the two should have retreated discreetly behind a curtain.
"It was crazy, just turned off and forbidden, " says Camilla Henemark. The following dates would have always emanated from King Carl Gustaf . However, the meetings would have arranged acquaintances.
In her book Camilla also reveals spicy details on alleged love games with the king. In the middle of the night, for example, he ordered sushi and the two would have enjoyed a meal fight. "It's hard to believe how childish we were, " she says.
However, an affair of the king was never confirmed. In 2010, a scandal book revealed the supposedly romantic adventures of Carl Gustaf . Now comes the "confession of the beloved ones ". Whether her "soul trip" really was so unavoidable is to be doubted. Such an affair certainly makes the cash register ring - whether it is true or not ...
