Chicks vs. Leopard - actually a clear thing, who pulls the short straw here. We thought so too - until we saw this video. A little chick in the clutches of a strong leopard - you must have seen the end.
The visitor who took these shots in Kruger National Park was amazed when he watched the daring escape of the little chick. Previously, the chick was captured by a leopard. The tragedy: His mom, a water-waders, must helplessly see her little boy struggling to survive. Then the unbelievable: The chick escapes from the clutches of the leopard and flees into the nearby water. And the leopard? He is luckily afraid of water and has to let the little chick go.
