Pet or lunch?
This baby is probably hungry and clearly fun pretending to eat the bird. Again and again the baby tries to catch the animal happily!
Babies are known to put everything in their mouths. For this reason, a warning sign is printed on not a few commodities, not to bring them near to infants. Technically speaking, this behavior is called the oral phase.
After a few months in the world, babies begin to put everything in reach and bite on it. This has nothing to do with hunger or teeth - children learn to examine objects with their tongues to gather information about hardness, temperature and shape. They get an accurate picture of their environment.
