Keith Richards (66) has renounced alcohol, but he has remained faithful to the cigarettes. It is said that the Rolling Stones guitarist renounced alcohol to save his health. The alcohol escapades of his colleague Ronnie Wood had retuned Keith Richards. The only vice he had left were his cigarettes, such a friend. Even in countries with a strict smoking ban, he did not give up. Smoking is "an integral part of his stage personality, " says Richards. Smoking outside is "draconian, social and politically correct crap". The smoking ban is equivalent to prohibition, which has almost ruined America.
