Fruit is healthy - but we barely manage to eat enough of it

Do not you feel like eating several servings of fresh fruit every day? Then you should resort to this food, which is even healthier than fresh fruit!

You can get your daily portion of vitamins without eating fresh fruit. This works with a drink that for a while was as unhealthy as cola. But if you drink it, you do more for your health than if you were eating fresh fruit!

Healthier than fresh fruit

Orange juice as a good alternative

If you drink orange juice, you take in twice as many carotenoids as if you were eating fresh oranges. This is because the carotenoids are trapped in the cells of the fruit. We do not manage to chew the orange so that the cells can release the carotenoids. When making orange juice, the cells of the fruit are broken up so that our body can better absorb and utilize the nutrients.

In the pasteurized, so briefly heated orange juice most healthy ingredients are present. But even the freshly squeezed orange juice is considered healthy and is a good alternative to fresh fruit. Only the orange nectar you should better leave in the supermarket shelf, as it contains less orange juice, but much added sugar.

Adding up to 200 ml of orange juice per day to your diet will help your health and easily cover some of your daily fruit needs.
