Kate Moss without Photoshop for Vogue Italia

Nice even without retouching

After not having done anything without vigorous Photoshop retouching for some time, the countertrend is now (luckily) proclaimed: Simply without artificial beautification. That this looks great anyway, shows Kate Moss.

Despite her 40 years, Kate Moss is still a much booked model. It may well be logical that her skin is no longer quite smooth, but this fact is easily suppressed by skilful retouching on the computer. Why, thought Kate Moss - and agreed to a shoot that impressed us.

In the pictures, Kate Moss is quite natural. Virtually without make-up, the model of star photographer Peter Lindbergh has been scanned for Vogue Italia . The purist black and white shots show a thoughtful, adult Kate, who is no longer 20 - and just looks good.

Once again Kate Moss, who has probably not consulted any beauty surgeon as one of a few celebrity ladies, is setting a trend. And this is one who is worth following. Growing old is no shame, the pictures prove, because they show a strong woman who has learned from life.

Just how much personality "older" models can bring to photo galleries and campaigns has recently been demonstrated by Dolce & Gabbana and Céline. Of the Pro-Age trend, we certainly will not get that fast enough - the great pictures down there!
