Karl-Lookalike gets his own party
Karl Lagerfeld can now be taken anywhere: As a trailer for the bag. And that is so popular that he should flush the fashion house Fendi a pretty penny in the cash.
The fur doll could not have advertised better: The accessory opened - worn by Cara Delevingne - the labels' autumn / winter show in February. In a Fendi manner, of course, the fake Karl is made of fur; with mink sunglasses, body of silver fox and a piece of angora as hair. This also includes a hefty price tag: 1, 240 euros costs the "Karlito" trailer.
Since the waiting list for the designer doppelganger was opened last month, more than 600 fur fans have already registered. That would mean a turnover of 744, 000 euros for Fendi - and rising.
In honor of the great success of Karl Lagerfeld's mini-edition , which has been designing for Fendi since 1965 , this week's Paris boutique will be hosting a party. Fur opponents will probably not celebrate there ...
