So open the TV presenter has never talked about fatherly love and Kinderlachen. He has two sons, Marvin and Leon - here you can read whether the family planning for the ARD presenter is completed.

He is a successful, attractive and busy man. He is famous and does not have to worry about financial matters. But Kai Pflaume (44) is by no means exhausted - because what he really fills is happiness with his children. You are his pride.

Kai Pflaume was in his early 30s when Marvin (13) and Leon (10) crowned the love of his wife Ilke (42) and made their family happiness perfect. The TV star said in a conversation with THE NEW: "When I'm with them, I see the world with different eyes, many things that seem so important for adults, put into perspective." Does he have enough time for his sons despite his many days of shooting? Kai Pflaume: "I am very grateful that I can plan my time flexibly and are always at home for the really important occasions."

Yes, the family is more important to him than his job and career, and yet he gets both well under one hat. The moderator: "Our children are out of the woods, so we can do a lot together." In education, he and wife Ilke pay attention to conveying values: "Leon and Marvin openly approach other people, we educate our children very lovingly, children should always know what they are about, and consequence is more important than austerity."

Does he sometimes long for another child? The moderator: "No. We always wanted to have two children and we are happy that they have become healthy boys."

Many men today choose to have a child in the more mature years - even at the age of 60. Kai Pflaume can understand this: "Often when you are older you have more peace and serenity and maybe you can enjoy your fatherhood more." For him, that would be out of the question.

And what about an adoption? Kai Pflaume: "There are so many couples who can not have children and desperately want to be adopted, and I keep their fingers crossed for them to get that happiness, but family planning is complete for us."
