With the eco-shop miwai Inez wants to make the world a bit better
The actress Inez Björg David founded the eco-label miwai in Berlin. For their fashion, the principle "cradle to cradle" applies to the preservation of resources.
Inez Bjørg David is really angry. Hard to believe, her face looks so angelic, actually everything in the life of this woman should be really wonderful. But it is not like that.
The actress, known from the series "Doc meets village" and "Forbidden love", really gets belly-rumble when she looks around the world. "Humanity is destroying this world with incredible arrogance, so I'm really upset." That's why the young mother of two decided to improve the world in her own way: for example with her eco-label miwai . Online and in a small shop in Berlin she sells eco-fashion, "which does not look like it". We interviewed Inez - and keep laughing about the kitchen part she banished from her kitchen.
Wunderweib: Dear Inez, tell me, what makes you really happy?
Inez Bjørg David: Basic luck needs a lot of components. Some of them are my children, my work - both with the shop and the acting. For the moment, I need a bar of chocolate, good-humored funny kids, and the final shot when turning.
And what makes you really angry?
If people are unfair, treat other people badly. That humanity is destroying our world with incredible arrogance. Since I can get really upset.
How do you reduce frustration? Do you run for hours through Berlin or do you clean up the miwai store?
Both! I finally discovered running again for myself. But I also do Kundalini Yoga, meditate and clean then sometimes the store completely around :-D
Which clothes would you like to ban?
Everything that is not fair and not Cradle to Cradle! Simply from today to tomorrow: CLOSE with the shit!
When was the last time you went shopping at H & M?
I do not know. Before I got the kids in any case. So maybe 4-5 years ago.
What makes miwai so special?
That we offer eco-fashion that does not look like it.
What does miwai mean to you ?
miwai is my passion. I like to play and have a lot of fun doing it. But miwai has a more profound meaning - working for a better, healthy world.
Who chooses the miwai clothes?
Well, me, of course :)
Should miwai still expand? A shop in Hamburg would be cool!
Yes, I do not rule that out. Hamburg has been suggested to us often.
What clothes do you have in your closet?
Not so many anymore! Of course, since I started the store, I also only buy sustainable fashion in private - I am now sitting at the source. And in addition, lately I realized how well it works when you reduce yourself. In the closet, but also in the kitchen - do you really need an extra "onion cutter"? No, and the part takes up space and has to be dusted off somehow. Out with it!
You have recently been Ambassador of the World Future Council - why, why, what is your message?
My message is ultimately to create an awareness for the World Future Council that it can do its job undisturbed and with greater effectiveness: to recognize world-changing laws around the world and then introduce them into other countries. This year's theme of wfc is "Ending violence against women and girls by men". This is an important topic in GERMANY, for example. We've all seen the horrible stories and images from India over the past year, but we'd better come home first. In Germany, for example, a woman has NOT been raped before the law if she only defends herself literally. A "no" is not enough. She MUST have resisted physically. No wonder that hardly a rape is reported, and unfortunately no wonder that most offenders go unpunished. 40 percent of women in Germany have experienced physical and / or sexual violence since the age of 16. And this is predominantly committed by the partner or ex-partner in the domestic sector.
Which character trait would you like to witch away from humans?

What does acting mean to you after the last role as Doc was unfortunately a flop?
Well, neither the role nor the series was a flop ;-) The series has opened me again completely new doors - this year I will be able to write 3 movies and a crime scene on the Vita. And the response to this series is still enormous. Also industry internal. Many still hope that it will continue. Unfortunately there is always a lot of politics involved as well. If I remember correctly, our average quota was 14.2 percent - something none of the following new series have done on RTL. But snow from yesterday. I really enjoy playing at the moment and I am really happy that I can play so many different characters.
Which roles would you like to play?
I have no desired rolls. I read the screenplay and if the character interests me, if I want to know what she's doing next, then I like to play her.
What else do you want to experience in life?
Very much! No idea what, but something new every day.
What is a waste of time for you?
To endure something that does not interest me - a bad movie or a bad book, for example. Simply put out the TV, put away the book and do something more meaningful. How to cook.
