French fashion icon for Japanese fashion retailer

No matter what she does, she does it with elegance and style. Even as a designer, Model Ines de la Fressange has made a name for herself. Now she is designing a collection for the Japanese label Uniqlo.

Ines de la Fressange is not just so beautiful, she radiates personality. In the 80s she ran for all the big designers, got the first big exclusive contract with Chanel. She then made her private life a priority for her two children, returning to the catwalks a few years ago - at least 50 years old. Today, at 56, she is a style icon to many.

And we can all wear their French-casual look soon! Ines de la Fressange designs her second collection for the Japanese fashion label Uniqlo in fall / winter 2014. What awaits us? Elegant tuxedo jackets, silk dresses, authentic trench coats, simple slim fit pants and comfortable merino sweaters.

"I put myself in the role of the modern woman and develop ideas for clothes that also take into account limited storage space and limited budgets, " says Ines de la Fressange. "Clothing is not about quantity and how many pieces you have in the closet, it's about having quality clothing." My designs were intended to convey to women that they are well-dressed with items from my collection, even if they do not necessarily to understand fashion so much. "

The collection will be available from 4 September at Uniqlo Tauentzien in Berlin.
