Get creative
With these self-crocheted picture frames, you put your loved ones in the limelight and beautify your walls at home.
You need this for the picture frames:
- each 1kn. Anchor Aida 10 in Fb. 311, 392 and 894
- 1 crochet hook, No. 1, 25
- a jar of wax beads, 2 mm, and 3 brooch needles (Rayher)
- round cardboard pieces, Ø 5 cm
- photos
- Glue
That's how it works:
Size of the picture frame Ø approx. 7.5 cm
1. Work is done in rounds. Start with the lm and crochet it crocheted. Complete one frame per color. Then stretch the work, moisten and let it dry.
2. Embroider the wax beads as shown. Glue the photos onto the cardboard pieces, cut them out and glue the crochet frames on them. Stick the brooches on the cardboard.
