++++ The action "Deutschland singt" can record a new applicant record in its second round! In the following draw, which follows the end of the application period on 18 July 2016, the 40 happy winners of the choir weekend will be determined in Hamburg in September. ++++
The first round of the "Deutschland singt" workshop has already proven that music makes people who are alien to each other, in no time friends! Together with the vocal coach Sören Schröder, the recreational singers rehearsed six great songs and even recorded their own CD. "People should have fun and be happy." That was the main intention of Sören for the event. And has succeeded in every case.
Singing in the community
Once again this year, 40 winners, each with one accompanying person, will have the chance to take part in an exciting choir weekend in the beautiful Hanseatic city. For this you do not have to be a perfect singer, but simply enjoy music. A voice training is part of the workshop - so do not worry. Through a few but targeted exercises, the participants learn in a short time how to use their voice optimally - regardless of whether they sing in the church choir or loudly sing songs in the shower. The foundation for a good-sounding voice is a positive mood. And that's exactly what the "Deutschland sings" chorus proved impressively last year.
Studies also show that the collective experience of singing creates intense feelings of happiness. Singing welds together, because seldom does such a bondage appear among people as in a choir. This has been confirmed by many participants of the first round. "Music connects!", Was one of the most common statements among the amateur singers at the workshop.
