Airplanes and airports are true germicides, as a travel platform has discovered. Did you suspect that the toilet on the plane is the dirtiest? Then you are wrong - there is a place where a lot more germs are bustling!
The travel platform Travelmath has microbiologically examined five different airports and four different airplanes. It tested the items that are available at every airport and on every aircraft. The surprising result is that the toilet is not the dirtiest place on the plane!
Here are the most germs
- The plastic tables in the plane
- The buttons of the water dispensers at the airports
- The adapter of the seat belts
- Rinse button on the toilet
- Buttons of the vents
- Door latches of the toilet at the airports
Quite disgusting, considering that the place on the plane is the dirtiest on which the food is served. So remember that you take disinfectants with you when you fly. Clean the table before use and throw the food away better when it falls from the plate to the table.
