They also noticed that something was wrong with them: mother and daughter share a terrible fate

Queensland, Australia's Bethany was the first to be diagnosed with suspected breast cancer! There she was 17 years old. Only months later, her mother Mybritt cancer is discovered. Now the two help each other. They tune their chemotherapy and take care of each other. What a hard destiny!

Bethany's friend already discovered a small knot on her chest in 2013. She went to the doctor, but did not listen to the advice to have an ultrasound done. Only when the tumor was as big as an apricot, she decided to do a biopsy.

The horror diagnosis

First, Bethany should only have one lymph node removed. Mother Mybritt did not leave her daughter's side. Then the Dread Diagnosis: A rare muscle cancer spreads in Bethany's body. Only three months after Bethany starts her chemotherapy, the next blow comes: Mother Mybritt also has breast cancer.

The Brisbane Times tells Bethany how she learned about her mother's diagnosis: "She came to my room and said, 'I have something to tell you ... I have cancer.' I just thought, 'Are you serious?' " They both start laughing because the situation is just so incredible. Mother and daughter have cancer at the same time.

Mother and daughter are there for each other

Mother and daughter coordinated their plans for chemotherapy. They can gain strength through mutual understanding of the disease. Bethany shaved her hair, her mother was soon hairless. But that the two went through the difficult time together helped them.

In the meantime both have finished their chemo. However, they are not considered healed yet. Bethany is currently collecting money to produce dance videos, as singer Sia's songs gave the now 18-year-old's strength during her chemo.
