On the 4th of October we celebrate the harvest festival in Germany! But what exactly is celebrated there? In Christianity, it is the day after the harvest when believers thank God for the gifts of field and forest. Classically, processions and devotions are held this Sunday, which can not be more colorful and autumnal. The churches are decorated for Thanksgiving with decorative arrangements & Co. from fruits, cereals or other crops.
Not only church followers are looking forward to nicely decorated and covered tables! All non-believers are also allowed to enjoy the rich colors of autumnal nature. Just load up on Sunday for a brunch with friends - in good weather, maybe even outside!

In the colors of autumn it lights up on the table! Purple, orange, yellow, brown and red come together on candles, glasses, forest and crops or shrubs. A loose arrangement of pumpkins, a bunch of ears of corn, chrysanthemums and apples beautifies the center of the table.

A bouquet does not always have to be made of flowers. Different ears can also make a decorative ensemble.
You need: 20 stalks of oats, 10 stems of barley, 10 stalks of wheat, Bindebast, Rosenschere
