The days are getting shorter, the weather is getting grayer and darker: the thought that the cold season is not far off, we often fall into a dark mood. Must not be - because these tips can help!

Luckily for depression, this mood depression, also called autumn depression or autumn blues, is usually not much to do. Nevertheless, the sadness is oppressive and has a negative impact on motivation and drive. With a few simple tricks, the sun (albeit only symbolically) can get back into everyday life relatively quickly.

Yes, exercise is not an insider's tip, but getting up is especially difficult in cloudy weather. Nevertheless, you should rather spend an extra sports lesson at the weekend and spend the lunch break with a long walk instead of in the canteen. That helps, promised!

2. Happy food

3. Breathing

In hectic everyday life, we often forget to breathe in and out properly. This little detail can be a cause of bad mood. So pay attention to it: inhale and exhale slowly and deeply. What seems a bit strange at first, can calm down quickly. Yoga is also ideal for training better breathing.

4. Positive thinking

It can be this simple: thoughts of the things that make us happy, or something we look forward to, make us happier. This can be a nice weekend getaway, but also something delicious to eat.

5. Time for me!
