Today's Tuesday should be the hottest day of the year so far. Since we were not necessarily spoiled with warm temperatures, it is now really thick. It gets hot and above all humid.
In the south, the thermometer rises according to the German Weather Service (DWD) up to 30 degrees. In the east and southeast there are 25 to 28 degrees and in the north you can first enjoy summer 20 to 25 degrees.
Responsible for this is Deep "Zoran", which crosses to us from the British Isles. Already in the afternoon, clouds will form throughout Germany. In the north, east and west there are heavy rain, hail and storm gusts. Even tornadoes are threatening.
Together with storm and thunderstorms, the air cools down significantly. On Wednesday, only rarely 20 degrees can be achieved. This is followed by showers and thunderstorms. But next week, experts are expecting another heat day.
